After studying business in university, Maiko joined fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto and helped develop fashion events while also acting as a secretary. After that, Maiko became a pro Taiko drummer and toured the world with her group. She had over 600 performances in 30 countries.She later separated from the group and, while producing events, began selling "MICO Rhythm," an exercise DVD by Avex. At the same time, she developed "micorhythm" clothing line with Kansai Yamamoto and became the main model for the designs.Although acting as an event producer and as a Taiko drummer, she has an array of talents and energy.Maiko is a member of the group "MICO" and entered Empire Entertainment Japan in 2014.
