Anna Recasens, originally from Barcelona, Spain, is the Senior Director of Operations & Strategy. A life-long producer with over ten years of event and media experience, Anna has lived and worked in Barcelona, Berlin, Helsinki, Kyoto, and New York. At Empire, in addition to strategy, she oversees the hiring process, staffing, and team operations, supervising the project pipeline and providing admin support to leadership. Anna has a dual undergraduate degree in Art History & Philosophy and Audiovisual Communication, with a minor in Film Production from Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona / Freie Universität, Berlin. After a decade of nomadic living, Anna enjoys watching movies in her Brooklyn loft apartment with one glass of champagne, two cats, and thousand plants.
